Bio

Michael Gan began his professional career after graduating from the University of California at Davis in 1978. By 1979, he opened Gan Photography in a strip mall in Dublin California, later moving his studio to nearby Pleasanton in 1986. His business philosophy has always been, “Strength in business through strength in community and the profession”. Because of this, he has always been active in various causes that involve the community and professional photography.

Michael now lives with his wife, Leslie Artis-Gan, M. Photog. Cr. In Petaluma California and practice professional photography in their home after 30 years in a commercial space. They have 6 children, all grown and finished with college, and 3 grandchildren.
