Photography has been a passion of mine long before I even owned my own camera. From a "mini-camera" that was not much bigger than a roll of 35mm film, to the standard point & shoot, to my first SLR film & several digital cams...and now to my newest DSLR (Nikon D600), Photography has allowed me to more fully enjoy the LIFE I've been given. It has been a constant companion; always there to remind me of the significant (& insignificant) moments, memorable travels, and all the seasons life has to offer. Pursuing photography as a business (more than just the hobby it has been) has pushed me to strive for excellence each step of the way. I'm just beginning this journey, but I am inspired to learn & constantly improve because of the great example set by so many I've known & those I have seen here.

I'm a wife (to a great husband who supports my dreams!), a dedicated mom to my 4 year-old son, & a former art teacher (6 years with amazing elementary kids)! I love the arts all-around, painting & ceramics (wheel thrown) were passions of mine, pre-kiddo! :-) Also been known to sing & play guitar...which is one of the many ways I love to express my heart for God. I've spent time working/traveling in Mexico, Costa Rica, & Brazil--thoroughly documented photographically, of course! :-)
